Nice Post!!
I liked the analogy. I do not consider myself a writer! That means freedom in a way. I like to read!

LOL- he sure looks mean, doesn't he? Today he made me order a salad for lunch instead of what I really wanted. I was standing there, all ready to order the yummies and then I heard the words, "I'll have the Italian Salad," come right out of my mouth!!!

I've got a least a 1/2 dozen writing projects in the works I can't quite seem to finish. I get the idea, get it going, then NOTHING! With working out, I need a buddy...I'm horrible working out alone...no one to keep me going. NICE POST!

Work through the pain, I always say. Throw a sentence down on the
keyboard and often the rest just writes itself.

I think my blocks are all from distractions or tension. When I take care of myself, the flow comes back naturally. I think we writers have something that is part of us, that requires that we keep all obstructions from preventing what comes naturally.

We all hear that voice from time to time
Sometimes we actually do listen; other times we actually take action.
You are right about getting moving though. Blogit is a blast but does nothing for our bodies.
