Hi brettnik-
Actually, I was ready to move out there. It was Mike who called it off by saying he was going to explore marriage counseling which we discovered meant you had to tell the other person goodbye. I said I couldn't agree to it. He pointed out that our love could stand the test of time. By Dec. 20th, it did and we were still in love but he decided to honor his vows and that we should say goodbye. 5 weeks later I was being tested again for cancer. But he still insisted that we should say goodbye. But he still loves me. I doubt he read my last e-mail as the soonest he agreed to meet was in heaven ("over there"). I have a wonderful husband, who is easily discouraged. I would NOT leave him now after what pain I put him through. I miss my
friend, Mike. I wish he didn't have to drop off the edge of the earth.

Reminds me of The Bridges of Madison County....
When I saw that film, I didn't know how she stayed, but I also couldn't see how she'd go. It's a tough one. At least you survived it.
