I would not like to do this full time...like I said I prefer the pubs....children are too much hard work, but you expect them with private gigs..

I think I'd have taken the organiser aside and
told them that if the kids did not stay away from the gear that you'd be unable to keep playing or you could have taken one of the kids aside and with a sweet smile told him/her what happened to the last kid who messed with your equipment.
BTW, "We were on stage" although I reckon it's just tiredness

A lot of parents seem to be pretty ignorant anymore when it
comes to watching their own children. Wonder what their kids will be like if they have any.....

Yes...shellyb. ...thats why I prefer pubs as children are not allowed.
