I'm not at all surprised you have.....I think it's the best way to give....right then, to this person, this need, that you can see and fix....one person at a time....and I don't think it was that hard for her once she could see in my eyes that there was no pity there, just the practicality of I wasn't going to accept the ridiculousness of the situation of her having to put those things back. We
are all in this together.
