Thanks for reading and responding so positively. I changed the title because it seemed more befitting of what I was doing, and the direction my blog has headed.

A koan is a pithy question which carries the capacity for reavealing hidden wisdom. I thought it would perhaps give the reader a chance to stop for a moment and contemplate, instead of continuing the hurly burly pace of modern existence.

Thanks Again
I think what makes me crazy is my inability to accept that every blessing carries with it a burden.

I can be seen, gleefully rejoicing in  my gifts, and heard, howling at the burden of responsibility they carry.

Now I see that I need to return to the quite of my reflections again, and make peace with what is being asked of me.

I see your presence and prose helps many. It helps me.  BTW, you changed your title, what's the significance of americoan?

The irony is that when it is crossed, it is believed not to be!

Yes! That's the justification for releasing the madness for what it is: an illusion. Great comment.

You've hit the nail on the head. Great words.

The justification that decides does NOT prevail when the sane man tastes the madness which calls in the quiet of his reflections --- IF the quiet man sees the madness for what it truly is...doubt and ego...and quietly returns to his reflections and re-connects to the Divine.  The madness & negativity comes from my ego, not from God.  To stop myself from running, screaming into the night...I must stop, get quiet, and re-connect.

It's a thin line
between madness and genius - how easy to cross once but never twice?

Your words carry great weight. Unfortunately, the insult would be the only thing remembered. Thank you for reading.

Such is the nature of the koan. The key to understanding is contemplation.

Avante, of course you are right. It is something that I must learn not to
do, is negate myself. Thanks for the insight.

We all experience madness...
sooner or later, but we must all find a way to get out of it asap lol

alls well that ends well and spiritually I think of being responsible and capable of creating experience. Being and Becoming, that you have just written of have been a conflict for me.
