Xeno-x -- and that is where the confusion comes in for many people
The qualities that any religious adherant would like to associate with "true followers" of their religion, simply are not qualities exclusive to any religion.

well damn
you're not THAT kind of Christian.
but in the sense that people with the right attitude toward their surroundings is a "Christian" no matter what religion they adhere to, then it is very possible that you are.
I don't think you need god or or to believe in the classical christ to be christian.
It's a state of mind,. not a religion.

JanesOpinion - no problem - as long as you don't call me a true Christian
afterwards.
I have to admit that this post is a little acidic but boy am I getting sick and tired of some of the things that people thoughtlessly promote without even an inkling of consideration that they know no more than anyone else. A complete and thorough knowledge of the bible really only represents one thing and one thing only, the individual claiming such knowledge has studied a book inside and out, nothing more. It does not grant a higher social status, it does not make that individual a better person in of itself, nor does it make them superior to anyone else. If they feel that memorizing a book's contents gives them the right to disparage others, they sadly have missed the entire point of their own religious message. I may in fact be a true Christian in comparison to such people, because adopting such a shallow mentality is entirely beneath me.

Oh, Gome, dear, could you please fix some HTML code for me
so that I might call you a true Christian? Please oh please oh please?

Hmmm, so now if we could just get TRUE Christians to act like TRUE Christians, we'd be all set, eh? (Or, perhaps since the hour is late I should just take myself off to bed before I make a complete fool of myself.)
