Hi Azur
I don't really mind "blogger" or "blog" in a title, although I've only ever used it once since coming to Blogit.  It's still a mystery to me why it's used, though.   It doesn't compel me to read if the word "blogger" is on display.   Hope you're feeling better soon.

I'm sorry to hear you are not so well. Hopefully your partner's novel will soar to great heights!

It sounds like he's truly captured how to be a good writer. That's good that he was able to overcome rejection.

it should be compulsory NOT to put Blog in your header
but to put something appropo and, if possible, witty.  I'd read your stuff whatever your header was, and welcome back....  Good to read about your guy being able to write something really interesting to you, and to read about a writer (after running into a brick wall) being able to back up, think about it, and work it out.  :)pat

Good to read you my friend, nah, I don't care what's in the headline now, I just read.

Oh, sure, play the "blog" card then play the "sick" card?

At least you didn't use the other patented blogging success words.

Like "oatmeal".

You're partner's work reveals why most of us can't become professional writers, we get stuck in the evolutionary path between being all feelings and undisciplined expression and bare nerves, and having that raw material pared down, disciplined, and hardened; like the difference between iron ore and stainless steel.

Plus, as someone once said, ninety percent of success is just showing up; it's only over once you finally quit.

Go to the Quiet Blogger
Hi, had to drop by just to say hello. I think it is up to the idividual to pace themselves within their writings, and understand under completion that it is their choice to use the word blog or blogger. I do not think it is necessary, then again that may not be so for another.I think it is just great that your friend or partner completed his work to a satisfaction that portrays his acceptance, and obviously your's too. GREAT! Keep up the good writing and I will continue to read on. Have a great weekend.

Kingmi sure seems to think so!

Although, actually, he uses the term "blogger" as opposed to "blog".

I personally never have (used that gimmick) ... but, I certainly don't hold it against those who do.

As they say: different strokes for different folks.

Take your time, hurry up
The choice is your's, don't be late
Take a rest
As a friend, as an old enemy
