Corbin, I think you have gone off the deep end. To defend a deal that fails the smell test among the rank-and-file red meat Republicans and blame it on the Democrats strains even their limited credulity and intelligence.
I guess Dr. Frist, Lindsey Graham, Tom Delay and other prominent right-wing Republicans who are in position to kill this deal (one that the King was not even aware of) makes them RHINOs in your eyes, right? I think you are out-of-step with the Republican party!

I understand the feeling......as to banking....since the UAE is the banking center for the entire middle east.....what ever went on would have gone through there, wouldn't it?....
We're finding terrorists in Toledo....Buffalo.....Seattle.......you know in politics...the old saying goes "What have you done for me lately" and their efforts have been among the best in the Middle East.

Corbin, actually from the begining I understood this as it is explained
I knew our security would still be in charge, but I think myself and others just could not stomach this country running anything in the USA. Also the 9/11 connection, the money passing through their banks, I just don't think they can be trusted. BUT again I did understand this management deal from the start but I still don't like it.

Isn't it amazing......
Conservative Bush supporters are always branded as inflexible and unyielding....when we show some flexibility...we are chastised......would it be such were it the other way...say pro to con? Probably not......
The question is.....why haven't the LIBdems been out in full force on this....is Kennedy sleeping one off or something? Where's Harry Reid? Nancy Pelosi? Are they now out of crocodile tears?
