Thanks. Cats are certainly entertaining and predictably unpredictable.

Thanks - like so many connections, I think we sometimes only really appreciate them when we can't take them for granted any longer.

Thanks. Yes, we've had our fair share of 'presents' including a floor of feathers once - rather like an unwrapped present when only the wrapping is left.

Thanks. I love it when the cats try and catch shadows.

Thanks. I'm not sure if Pippin was always strange or just became so under our own influence!

Thanks. I think of him and also a rabbit called Snuffles who died one Christmas Eve.

Malcolm,
I did enjoy this one...Though I've never had a cat, I do understand the attachments we form to our pets. They are members of our family and we love them. Thanks for sharing...Blessings!

There were a few mornings growing up when I wished my Sheba was as indulgent. She would always leave "presents" on the porch when she was a kitten.

Malcolm,
We saw an old man walking down the street with a cat walking beside him and laughed, it just seemed as if he was out for a walk with him. Cats are such good company, I can't wait til we have a place that is better suited to pets.

Pippin sounds like quite a creature...I'm sure he's enjoying
Cat Heaven...My cat is very finicky. She barely eats anything. She whines and fusses if you feed her the wrong thing. She's never caught a bird or mouse before.

I just love my pets, and I am often reminded of the ones no longer living. How rich we become in fond memories as we get along in life.

If I were a cat, I would like to live at your place.
