Uncle Dave
That's very encouraging. Thank you. It means a lot to me to have finally found a niche. Read you soon, too.

A-G, just checking in with the showcasers. Seems like it's working out.
It's true what Tapsie said. I hadn't realised it until just recently why I come back to your work. It's because you pack so much to think about into such a small space of words. Like poetry is your philosophising. Good luck and read you soon.

It is reflective. Thanks for reading and commenting.

I printed it to have more time to think about what you wrote. Nice choose.

I can see why you chose this one for the showcase.   You packed a lot to think about in a small space.

Nice one, and ever-so-true portrait of all of us!

You're very kind. Thank you so much for reading and pondering.

A-G, good choice for the showcase and one I hadn't read myself.
Some interesting comments you inspired too. It took some pondering, as Quirky noted, and as I was letting it sit and working it through my mind, it reminded of when I read some Neitsche a few years back. I also loved what you prompted Sannhet to say: " We're human doings rather than human beings." Perhaps if we thought more about your words here, we could fight that inner battle. Good stuff.

Ah, yes. Such is the nature of duality.

Nice...as always...
My fav part:  "peaceful or conflicted..."

Great to hear from you. No pun taken. Thanks so much for reading.

Yes. So simple, yet so profoundly complex.

I think it is inevitable. Perhaps not in our lifetime, though. Thanks for stopping by.

This post takes some pondering...

Great post!

"Becoming" is a natural thing. Reaching a level of higher awareness and letting go of the ego.

Someday all of Mankind will be there. When that will happen is anyone's guess.

Essentially
I don't believe anyone strikes out to have a negative path. Obstacles? Certainly. This 'being' can be applied to any negative state of being, which exists solely because it is denied.

Anger, for instance, loses its momentum the minute blaming others for its existence ends.

Hmmmm
Whenever I hear this sort of go with the flow way of thinking, and I tend to agree with it basically, the thought always comes into my head are there some people whose flow is naturally negative?  If they go with the flow will they flow into horrible deeds like Hitler?  Do some people have a negative path?

This is gold!

Can I become other than who I am through denial of who I am?  There's a true koan if I've ever heard one.  It would take a lifetime to think about...

For so many though, becoming never happens. We're human doings rather than human beings.
