I am just as "sick and tiered " of the oppression that many people of many faces see every day! It is not just the blacks and the arabs! I also believe that we the people have had little to say in the last elections. What we do have control in on the other hand is what we do next, treat each other with compassion, respect the planet and last but not least VOTE for a comedian, lets get the word out early and maybe we will finally have a choice. I am voting George Carlin for president! @#$#% the democrats and republicans, they are all monkeys!

And not much time for good ol' Bill and his bloviating ways.
And for the rest of that, well, I guess we'll have to agree to disagree, although I do (believe it or not!) value your opinion. And by the way, I work with several blacks and have a good relationship. We enjoy chatting and joking when time permits . . . . (and I'm called "W" for whitey!)

You have to get away from that FOX News Channel and Rush Linbaugh! They are all Jews making reality for "White Folk"! Did you hear what happened to this so called Welfare dependency of Black folk? Where have you been?
You seem like a very nice person, like my other "White Sista" OFFBEATS, are very misguided and inbed with these crazy ass White Males! How can you stand the madness? Talk about angry! They can only act out their anger in groups though! I have to admit, they do that well!

Glennb, for all your rant and bloviation, you're still
acting emasculated. OK, so whites have done some pretty horrid things against blacks, for which we should be ashamed and repentant. But here's what I don't get. So many opportunities have been provided for blacks and other people of color over the decades and yet there is still that woe is me welfare mentality that not enough is being done, whites are horrid, rascism continues, we're being discriminated against, etc.
My nephew wants to enter the Naval Academy when he finishes high school; however, because he is a white male, his chances of getting in are much less than if he were a black female. But YOU say that opportunities and racism continue to abound? Sure, that attitude is going to continue as blacks continue to have the highest drug, crime, single parenthood, etc rates. So much has been done to attempt to rectify the wrongs, but the attitude of too many blacks is "it ain't enough, woe is me, where is my welfare check, you owe me money for the wrongs your ancestors committed . . . ." There will never be enough money to pay for the wrongs committed. Money is NOT the answer.
I think it's high time for African American males, especially fathers, to lead by example. Instead of bloviating, get out there and make a difference in the lives of at risk young black males. No other way it's gonna happen. Not with such high percentages of black homes being led by single black women. You men need to stand up, take responsibility, and make a difference in the lives of others.
Am I being a judgmental, a whitey, someone who really doesn't have a clue what it's like to grow up black in the USA? Yeah, you could say that. I don't know what it's like. But what I do see are a gazillion opportunities out there, ready for the taking, particularly if one is black or a person of color. So deal with the anger, the hurt and move on.
And regarding Arabs? You forget that Arabs have a strong tendency towards committing terrorist acts both here and abroad? Did that little event on 9/11 slip your memory? Of course we're a little leary of them, thanks to that history. I would really, really like to give them the benefit of the doubt . . . but I also refuse to let my guard down.
