I have to agree with David
Sometimes when you look at the comment sections, it looks like the transcript of a pajama party.
Many try and write serious material but that falls quickly off the screen......
But if you like to interact with a good virtual community....Blogit's the place to have some fun........but you have to be willing to play the game....if you enjoy it, you can earn your fees back and get some chump change in the process...if not......Don't waste your time.

You are aware, I am sure, that the truth can have many subjective true faces. That's why I propose to you a more pragmatic and logical approach to the subject of to be or not to be a member of blogit, especially that I have left it twice during a single year. Please bear in mind that the entrance fee is almost 13 $ a month. 3 $ go to the owners of the business, guaranteed, while the remaining get shared among the people you've read. As an investing, unless you are so much read that you earn more than 13 $ /a month, it is a bad one. An investing should be profitable. Let's analyze queen Arils financial status:
$3,912.64, and she has joined on July 14, 2003. Which means she has been paying the fee for 29 months ever since. 31x12.5=387.5. Her profit would be 3525.14. Not bad!, but wait, there is more: she didn't pay for only one blog, the fees are getting more expensive as you increase the number of blogs. So for 5 blogs, as she presently has, she paid 31x19.95=618.45. Substracting it from the earnings you get an amazing profit of 3294.19. Again not bad. But the question is: will you be able to sacrifice your family and social life for these kind of money? Remember, once you have joined is addictive. I am the living proof for that. Speaks only the truth and nothing but. My butt has grown twice its size since I joined last year and I have no income to show for it
However I use 'Blogit' as my 'morning pages.' keeps me fresh, keeps the cost of my addiction (writing) to a minimum and I get to interact (read and comment) in a little faceless fun.

Here is the straight dope my friend!
First of all, forget about the cash. The ONLY people here making any "cash" at all are owners of Blogit!There are some (a "select" few) who make some money, but they live here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (holidays included) and post 20 times a day! They probably have extremely large asses and maybe even sores on those rear ends from sitting so much. Not to mention what there eyes probably feel like after all of the "reading" and "writing" that they do each and every day!
Nobody really "writes" here either. It's more like a gigantic chat room,, with all of the gossip and backbiting and "click on my post and I'll click on yours" kind of shit that might make some people really popular; but at the cost of a real life and probably any real realationships!
If you are a serious writer, don't even attempt to get read here. The real good writers post once or twice and quickly realize what a sham this place is and leave just as quickly!
If you want to be a writer save your money find another place to write.
If you want the real "Blogit experience" then I suggest you just join Yahoo Chat instead. It's free!
Sorry to have burst any potential bubble you may have had about this place; but I'd rather you get the truth first!
