- Go to Home Remedy: Cure for Excessive Dandruff
Well, not everyone is a "trust fund baby" like you or I, Gubby!
Besides, read a little more carefully next time! It's a remedy for people who haven't had any success using the mainstream products.

How about...
Anti-dandruff shampoo?
It's like, a miracle cure.

Beats me!
I'll ask my aunt and post her response the next time I hand out one of her "recipes".
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm making my list and checking it twice ...
What I just said will make sense in a few minutes ... trust me.

MPO - why does aspirin stop dandruff? Looks like a base would
work better (chemically speaking).

It does, nanaroo...
however, my aunt has an
even better "recipe" for
that.

To answer the emailers who thanked me for the post, but were too embarrassed to leave a comment:
Don't worry, most of the other remedies are for problems that are far less embarrassing to admit to, such as back acne and "saddle bags".

Seriously, Gulliver...
if/when you come down with a potentially fatal case of "severe dandruff", you're going to be thanking your lucky stars you read this.
Okay, I'm going to go check out your blog now (and attempt to answer your questions), and I would urge everyone else to do the same.

To further clarify:
Over the years, my aunt (who visited us today) has concocted several "home remedies" that she uses if/when the regularly prescribed treatments fail.
She swears by all her "cures" 100%, and has been "gracious'' enough to allow me to (occasionally) share some of her "recipes" with everyone.

Bayer...the wonder drug that works wonders.
This could be a whole new add campaign for them. I'm going to get on those sketches right away and outline some commercial ideas. We'll have something ready by the next Super Bowl.

No, Dr, just regular shampoo.
Otherwise, what would be the point?

Hmmm..
Has this been proven effective? It seems rather unusual and is it combined with a dandruff shampoo? Or am I missing something here?

Just to clarify:
by "whenever necessary" I meant
at the first slightest hint of the problem returning.

Whenever necessary, I suppose.
The cure should last at least a month, however (at an absolute
minimum).

This sounds good. How often should the treatment be repeated to maintain a dandruff free condition?
