In 2001 we had the terrorists attacks. We're now the target of radical Islam. Our government seems to be running wild. - We are now experiencing what much of the world has lived with forever: war, attacks, terror, corruption in government. This is why so many other nations are more political, more involved, have better voter turnouts, etc. We just have to get off our lazy spoiled butts and get involved, fix what's broken, and stay on top of things. "Government of the people, by the people, for the people."

I think you're correct, blogflogger. Pressure for accountability and
governmental responsibility can only be a good thing. Hopefully, the information age will allow just the that. We'll just have to build in some anti-spin zones and bullshit filters.

Yeah, blogflogger, I recall a "list of ten" or somesuch that Dubya threw
out to the media after being dogged to support his assertions that we were actually doing something, anything, with Homeland Security. I think it was following the release of the 9/11 Commission Report.

... program became a contentious issue, but when the head of the program was asked if the NSA program caught the info he said no, when asked the names of those captured he said their names are classified, and when asked where they are incarcerated, he said he wasn't at liberty to share that info. - The news of the chatter they picked up about hitting a high-rise in LA was announced 2 years ago. At that time the administration took credit for foiling the plot, but no mention of captures.

The foundation for these lies is directly coupled to the number of ........
"Terrorists" held in prisons without trials.
Each lie supports each other and the sum of the whole fraud is greater than each component.
There will be a price to pay for these self serving frauds and it will be an exponential component of hatred spawned revenge..
When that payback comes George and dick will be retired and quail huntin on the ranch in Texas.
And you will have forgotten why they are so hatefull of you that they fly planes into building, or deliver an Abomb via Oil laden tanker, or deliver some pathogen like the plague.
