Thanks for more information Corbin.
I would almost follow Mr. Bud's theory about this whole thing except the big boys in Iran are wanting to start trouble. I don't want to see them test some nuclear device. I want to see it blown up before they get to that point. I would like to see everyone sit at a table and hammer out some kind of deal, but that is not going to happen either. I wish we could support the opponents of Iran's President so that they could do the job for us, but I don't think that will happen either. The guy in charge is a nut and we are going to have to act like a hammer to crack it before it's all over.

Ok, I've reread this post and am not trying to be antagonistic.

All these lovely details which give me greater understand still don't cause me to fear Iran.

My assertion to leave them alone so that their crazy leaders don't have a rallying cause and let the future resolve itself without an American foreign policy interfering through fearful assumptions and aggressive actions, still stands as the most rational approach.

The argument about a secret nuclear program for 18 years is not relevant. Creating a following by spouting lies to their people is not against the rules, the AMERICAN ADMINISTRATION DOES IT ALL THE TIME.

When and if they develop the bomb, they will have to test it. Then defensive action is warranted for a real threat not a perceived/invented threat. At that point you will have overwhelming superiority and the moral right to use it. Until then, relax don't go pushing for things based on foundationless, unjustifiable fears. which you constantly promote as accomplished facts

Have a good one.
