My younger brother teaches piano and performs for a living. I did not excel at music like he did but I don't regret taking lessons or anything I did with music no matter how simple and primitive. It's a great joy.

that's cool. I'm eternally grateful to my parents for putting up with my drum playing when I was growing up. You know what is funny? I was reading too quickly, and I mistakenly read "Ivan did spend some time with her" as "Ivan did some time with her." I was wondering what was going on because it was so shockingly different from the context. lol. Had to rewind there :)
