You know...
God is guiding me to a path where i have no other choice left then having faith...i have to be ready to face the unknown...

You can never forget, but you can understand that difference between a memory and the identification with it, thinking that is who you really are. Thanks for reading.

very koanic.  Your musing here are not as clear as they usually are.  At first I thought they were just more muddled, but then as I thought about them more, I realized they were just subtler than usual.  You are so right about the difference between the idea of nothing and being nothing as well.

I read your blogs aloud avant...
...over and over again sometimes!  I love this:  "discarding what is old makes way for what is new."  Interestingly though if we discarded all that was old we'd lose the sense of our past although I am with moving on toward the future and putting the past in a safe place, to peek at once in a while.

malcolm
The image that we carry of ourselves is that we exist by taking from outside ourselves. We look at love this way, and happiness, and peace. Yet, this image is not real, but manufactured in the mind.

Therefore, when someone comes along and speaks truth, even if we are seeking the truth, there is the idea that we will lose what little we have gained in order to realize our true identity. The idea of being nothing and the actual state of nothingness are quite dissimilar.

I've been conjuring with your phrase
'is nothing equal to being less?' all day

You are wise. There is a path to having whatever your heart desires, but you must use faith and trust that is already a reality. Thanks for giving me a renewal of that faith.

Know what I love about your pieces? I have to read them out loud
to really appreciate them.  Gives me time during my busy days of chasing children to actually stop and ponder something beyond the dinner menu.

I told my son yesterday...
There is so reason to fear anything, nor to feel insecure, nor even to plan to many things in advance, we just have to let God guide us...no matter where we will be, there is a reason for it and God will guide us for us to be able to accomplish his plan...avant garde, i know that i will reach my goals, but how and when...i have no idea...i just have to keep believing and keep doing my thing, the Lord will do the rest...

I've written certain things and expected to receive comments on it, and it bombed. I look at kind of like music. You never know which pieces will be popular, and which ones won't.

Avant... loved the last line about words being something to break free
rather than shackle us further. Great thoughts! And elysia's comment is a powerful one, I agree.

fear is good
I defy anyone to probe for deeper meaning without fear.
I defy anyone to embrace the unfamiliar, without fear.
In order to cross these new threasholds, it's necessary to embrace fear.
It makes for a rip roaring thrill ride on the road to discovery.
Fear is good.
