Hi.. This makes no sense at all.  We need to do more than discuss it.. we need to stop it.  It is good to know that both parties are agreeing on this matter. Common sense is in order.. I hope they'll find it and use it. Good Post!

I wasn't looking at it that way.....I mentioned the terrorist thing only because the Emirates has been found to be doing some thing  in dealings with Al-Qaeda

Remember this was already run by a foreign country......Britain!  Imagine the reaction over this,  if the year  was, say,  1820....right after the War of 1812 here.

This makes no sense and the Congress needs to step in and
put a stop to it. Just don't complain. Put a stop to it. Our Congress is the "We, the people" part of the deal. They are elected to do our work and they should get on the ball.

Corbin,
Maybe we shouldn't treat all the people, who are Muslims as potential terrorists? But I understand that American people can be scared... So, let the American company manage your ports, it can be safer. Sometimes it's worth being careful, isn't it???

Scoop

This is not a Republican or Democrat thing........it's a common sense, security realizing thing......

It amazes me how any President, Republican or Democrat could even hope to keep an eye on every aspect of this monster of a government we have......each department, sub-department...what ever act like they are a separate little bureaucratic fiefdom.....

Money talks, after those pictures you showed us yesterday

nothing would surprise me. Again I am always wondering about what we don't know?

Good post thanks for the information and glad to see both parties working together.

I agree, this makes absolutely NO sense whatsoever.

These Arabs may be experts in managing ports, but too many from UAE are experts in driving terrorism and in my book, the two don't mix.

Surely there's some wealthy billionaire US company that could manage this sort of thing?

Yes it is......

Almost as bad as when Carter handed over the Panama Canal......

and now it's run by a Chicom Company...........
