No, Corbin, no glee here over anyone's death,
Just a desire for justice: Mr. Cheney needs to obey the law, not be above it. He waited 14 hours to report the accident. I wish his lawyer a speedy recovery, as much as anyone recovers with 100-150 .28-gauge shotgun pellets in their jaw, chest and shoulder.

This man was a very good friend of the VP. If I had accidently shot my best friend, I would have gone with him to the hospital too. To hell with the press. No one feels more badly about this than Cheney. He is a private man, and after seeing how the media is out of control because they didn't get the "first scoop" on this, my respect for the media descends even further. At the time of the accident, the press was not the priority for the VP, it was for his friend..

I'm surprised you haven't started Swiftboating ...
the shooting victim. It was a plot by the 78-year-old man to get himself shot so the press would embarrass the President.

Corbin,
I agree with Lucy it must have been an accident. But the man was lucky, he could have been killed!!! By the way does your vice-President have poor eyesight?
I made a serious decision concerning my blog (I took your advice into account, thanks).

It was an accident! This is a friend of the VP. I would imagine he would have already made a statement. We have quite a few hunting accidents in this state every year! I am praying this man makes it and it has nothing to do with the press...he just needs our prayers right now!!

Corbin,
This is too much and sadly it is people like this that I was thinking of today when I wrote about logical fallacies...Yes, my post is quite light-hearted, but people who seek the truth will understand what it was I was trying to say...
