johnmcnab and azur, I think this falls more intto the category of multiple
intelligences, as opposed to total physical response, but either way, we dig it because it works. You know Richard Nixon claims not to have exercised one day from his first innaugural ball to the day he resigned. So he put this lesson to work for himself, walking the beaches and then writing when the endorphines raged on! I like it!

Hi Kingmi
JohnMcNab is right. II posted about how I did exactly the same thing with my journalism students a few weeks ago. I asked them to give them ideas about local stories then I took them downtown and then we came back and I asked them to write again. It made all the difference even though we all got rained on

That is beyond "coincidental" ... and beyond "freaky". It's always difficult (as a sensible person) to reconcile those sorts of unexplained occurrences.
The day that two of my closest friends were killed in a car accident, I was not with them because I had decided to stay home and (among other things) watch "Adaptation" again on DVD. Anyone who has seen that movie probably understands the connection I'm referring to.
At any rate, I doubt this quote will elicit the same level of sensory recall from you, but it is (nevertheless) next in line:
81.
"Hello, gorgeous."

A very interesting anecdote, kingmi, somewhat similar to Azur's. Thank you.
