Very interesting post! I agree with most of what your saying. Definitely not good to stay together for the children, and marriage is sacred. I am not really good at it for whatever reason. Love and respect my former husbands...and yes, they did cheat. I hope your Mother will come to understand your position. It's hard for Mothers. Your a very special lady and don't be surprised if some day, somewhere, someone snatches you right up...Your kind of love is meant for sharing Christy!! I love you!

Mothers and marriage seem to be inextricably linked. We lived for 15 years unhitched and after they'd given up asking, that's when we did it. We never thought we needed a piece of paper either, but just wanted to do it.
Agreed on the huge mistake of staying married for the kids.
Some real ponderings there on love and marriage. Most thought I've seen anyone put into it today on Blogit.
