I know that the terrorist, Jamal al-Badawi, who masterminded the bombing

of the U.S.S. Cole, had previously escaped, but I think those two stories have become intermingled, because this escape, which occurred two weeks ago, involved 23 men, 13 of them known al Qaeda members.  They escaped through a tunnel, as did al-Badawi the first time around.  However, history has been known to repeat itself, mellyn, so...
