You are creating what's know as an "urban/suburban wildlife habitat". You're purposefully creating habitat for wildlife (birds, butterflies, bees, etc) in your yard. There are organizations whose aim is to get people to use there yards for other things besides cement and lawn grass which does not attract these creatures. Good job.
