Crimson,
I think my realtor is pretty good. He is doing a decent job so far. We got a bite on Saturday but waiting for potential buyers financing approval.

Hi jacenta!
Thank you! Boy does it take a lot out of my personal time (obviously) I haven't been around much these days. Hope you're doing well!

I hope you get your regular life back too.
Just not sure what is regular about life. Good luck with selling your house, that can be a real pain. Hopefully you have a good realtor.

LittleMsP,
Life would be too boring for me if I had to stay out of mischief! (You know that!) hehe Thanks for reading. Sorry I haven't been around much, but soon I will catch up on all of you! I promise! Miss you!!

Oh, Sir Strat,
Such positive words there! hehe I also worry about the luggage handlers. (Well, the machanics and pilots first, of course) but it's always interesting to see how they toss the luggage onto the belt while watching from inside the plane. I never doubt why certain things get broken while in my luggage bag even after trying to "insulate" it inside the bag. I'll never travel with a glass perfume bottle, hair spray, or any other such items again!

Factor,
I know! You even have to pay cash for food now on planes! As if the price of the ticket isn't high enough these days. Insult to injury, IMO. Sorry ya didn't find anything in your mansion pics. Oh well.

Yep. I'm back in Tampa and just waiting to sell my damn house already! Great to hear from you. Sorry for delayed response. I (obviously) haven't been able to check in with Blogitville much lately. Can't wait till I can get my regular life back!

Divine,
Glad everyone was okay on that flight. Well, like you said, who knows if all seats were in the upright position! I just don't really understand the difference between straight upright and 2 inches "reclined"!!

HolyG,
Damn, Girl! You'll be fine! Stats show flying is much safer than car travel anyway!

Blanche,
No, it wasn't much fun, but when is flying anyway? The only thing I do like about it is when taking off, as the plane gains speed before going airborn, I pretend like I'm in a race car.

I just hate the whole cattle car mentality
the airlines have adopted to the business of shipping my ass from one place to another. And I've never once worried about pilot error or even terrorist hijackers, but God preserve me from the hung over aircraft mechanic whose still half gassed, pissed off at his wife, and is currently turning the bolt that holds the engine to the plane I'm going to be in.

Didn't realize people like you
flew on planes. Just figured you used angel's wings. Hope that didn't sound flirtatious as I meant it to be complimentary.

I hate flying now also.
It was not that way years ago...I guess the novelty wore off and the food got too gross or nonexistent.
I did not see anything unusual in any of my mansion pictures and truly the place felt deserted if you know what I mean. Not that I know if that means anything...but there have been places that made an irrational impression on me.

Crash survivors
There was a horrific plane crash last summer at Toronto airport when an Air France jet overshot the runway during a poor weather landing, ending up in a ravine just a few yards short of a 12 lane highway filled with traffic. All 309 people escaped the crash, a few with only minor injuries. Who knows if the 'seat in the upright position' did anything but from all reports, the plane was emptied in less than 2 minutes. Thankfully no one was onboard when a few minutes later a section of the plane burst into flames. I for one am listening way more carefully to the safety instructions at the beginning of the flights.

I'm kind of with you on the seat thing. I mean really - how many plan crash survivors do you hear about except on TV and in movies?? You've made me really look foward to flying next month - and I alreayd dislike it!

Spitfire,
That reminds of Ellen Degeneres asking the same question: "Is this (uses hand to indicate angle of seat), the difference between life and death...Life (hand vertical) Death (45 degree incline). I guess MPO's got some good points, though. That trip to Tampa doesn't sound like a whole lot of fun.

Well, for one thing...
it allows easier access to the aisles in the event of an evacuation. Also, it keeps your body in the safest position during an impact: it reduces the distance your head would travel backward, thus lessening whiplash-style injuries, and prevents you from "submarining" under the seatbelt in a crash.
I do not like them here or there!
I do not like them anywhere!
