From what I know...
having my father around would have been hell. A tough childhood in my estimation is better than hell.
And my step dad was pretty cool!... not perfect, but cool.

It's going to be okay!
There will be times like this, that you don't feel that you are the best for your daughter, but don't give in to them. Just be strong for her and for yourself and you will be okay!

Children do not need 2 parents to have a beautiful life! One parent filled with love will give her a life that the richest 2 parent families could never give. Hang in there! Don't give in to the stereotype of parenthood!
