Thanks Blanche Dubois
I still feel sure that I will get better, even though I'm not seeing any signs of it right now.

I know what you mean anglofinspiration
I have health insurance but no prescription coverage I almost passed out when I found out that a month's worth of Wellbrutin was $242! Fortuantely my doctor gave me some samples so I didn't have to pay that. Good thing because all it's done is make me constipated.

Jollyjeff,
Small steps, I find help me, to keep reasonable expectations of myself, keep things in perspective. Pervasive and pessimistic: those are two buzzwords in cognitive therapy for depressive thinking: Example of pervasive thinking: "I didn't get that job, I'll never get a job, etc. " however, correecting the thinking helps: Instead, "I didn't get that job, but there are others"
Pessimistic, ex: of, "I did a lousy job, I"m never going to get better", instead thinking, "I made a mistake, I can learn from and correct my mistakes". Instead of "I'm stupid", think "I am learning".
Hang in there, I'll borrow a line from my comment to Laylabeth, (we were commenting about show tunes and how uplifting they can be, at times, even if silly: "The sun'll come out tomorrow", now picture a little girl in obviously fake red wig, belting that out..

That was a good one, AC!
Jeff,
I hear you, I am kind of having one of those days today as well. Some days, if it weren't for Blogit and the fact that I homeschool my son, I wouldn't get out of bed at all. Since I left my job last October (leaving behind health ins.), I have been without the much needed Wellbutrin! Who can afford this stuff without insurance? I cannot!
Feel better Jeff, I am thinking of you and you are not alone!

I have found the exercise is great for improving my mood
Have you tried anything along those lines and what were the results?

Jeff ~ Maybe if I annoy you with stupid jokes, you might crack a smile.....
What do you call a blond corpse in the closet? The 1995 hide and seek champion! What was the last thought to go through her ? "I WON!"
