Glennb, the Americans don't understand what it really is all about........
How could they, when a site like this which claims it is made up of people whose craft supposedly puts them in a sophisticated level, reveals their lack of comprehension?
They are trained followers, fans of mass marketed events. You only have to see the buzz on this site over a boring staged marketing venue, all about money making, the superbowl. And these people aspire to be sophisticated writers.
I've actually had better discussions with people in old age homes.
Once they learned to suck on the marketer's tit a few decades ago, individual thought processes declined in America.
You can see the evidence of this on Blogit which is a microcosm of their society.
Loyalty to certain Bloggers is a reflection of their faddism. They don't wish to complicate their lives with real issues. It is good enough to be told the same old things by the popular stars. It is a warm comfortable place where reality can't intrude.
The hollywood stars whom they worship are chosen for superficial appearances, talent has nothing to do with it.
Someone gives a message which challenges this beautiful fuzzy scenario, rather than debate for the purpose of mutual enlightenment, they fall-back to their position of hate. This is the fault of their hateful christian heritage.
What can you expect when centuries of slavery, have changed into decades of racism all directed from their pulpits.
The whole world is overdosed with religious fanatics. These are the modern version of those who brought down the most advanced human civilization, the roman empire, and gave of centuries of darkness.
Religion and the control of an unthinking biomass, exactly like a huge fungi, is the danger.
Racism is only a tool they use for their nefarious purposes, always encouraged by religion.
