I love the beach and we live so close to it...  the beach is the best cobweb clearing air... thanks!

Nanaroo -- Good post. I find it difficult to work if there are people
coming and going around me. Its always nice to get outside into nature too, or by the beach, it blows the cobwebs away.

Your inner extrovert definitely shines thru in your writing.  (I think introverts are better--LOL)

Oh I'm the same Nanaroo!
We all need that 'quiet' time on a daily basis...but we don't always get it...especially when raising a family.  I loved that book!  I'm fortunate that at this stage of my life I am able to take the time to fall deep into thoughts and I find I'm very comfortable with my own company!  Not sure what this says about me...perhaps I'm a bit of a loner.

my sister!  yes, I am looking forward to a few cherished hours alone (yay!) because hubby is going to a meeting downtown.

yes, I am very much so!  Being around people too much just exhausts me.  Part of this, I think, is that I am empathic- I 'feel' people too much...

I love my time alone, it's best for myself and the rest of my family if I have it too. Sometimes if there is too much going on in life or too many people knocking at the door, I retreat into the world of solace. I like to read (can't do that if everyone is around)...like to watch a documentary or so...and be able to concentrate on the subject at hand...I hope your having a great day and are enjoying your time and space!!

Nan ~

I'm like you...I need Alone Time to re-energize, as being around people too much totally wears me out!

So my question is:  Are you an introvert?  I wouldn't guess you are, but this trait usually applies to introverted people.

I get my best energy from being alone with my own thoughts.

I view driving as a sport when I'm alone in the car. I love it. : )

you seem like you would be a good driver!

the other time it happens is when I'm drying my hair.
It takes a while, and I get lost in thought.

Nanaroo... it only happens when it's a lonely stretch of road...
Otherwise, I tend to concentrate on the driving too much... I think I was a racecar driver in a past life.  LOL

I've heard that- about driving- I never feel alone when I'm driving, too many idiot drivers out there!
My challenge is to get that quiet time at home because we both work at home so it's 24/7!

I love alone time... my best ideas seem to come to me while driving.
But only if I turn the radio off... LOL

Nanaroo,
That is one of my favorites...Thanks for reminding me! As for your question, I usually go for a walk. It is a great RX for me.
