Nanar,

Creed-o is phonetically right.  Credo is the written word.  And you have a good one.  Too often people lose sight of that ideal and become worrisome, unhappy, and downright cranky (not to mention a pain in the ass).  One of the things that I have always liked about So Cal is that so many people there seem to hold onto that creed, and don't make a big fuss about what other people do.  I have no doubt that there are many ''stick in the mud'' people there, but they don't rule the roost.

      Have a nice day... jack

Nanar,
I'm glad you had fun.  Everyone needs more of that.  jack

MPO,
I probably could have phrased that better, but I think you understand.  It is a pleasure to see your unique approach.   jack  ()

Angel,
Be more careful about thinking.  If you don't slack off when it starts to reach the edgoe of control, you can end up with just the kind of thing you describe.  Consider yourself lucky that you didn't go out of control and end up in a white coat with buckle-down arms.  The next stop after that is what is referred to in the vernacular as ''The Funny Farm.''  There are plenty of laughs there, but not a thing that is funny.      jack

My "opinionated, no slack approach"?

I suppose that's one way to word it.

And, I'm glad you're starting to appreciate it.

I might stay for a day there if I had my wish
But there's not much to do when your friends are all fish
And an oyster and clam aren't real family
So I don't want to live in the sea.

Nah, not really... Well, maybe, hmmm? Nope, I was mistaken, I think....

I'll have to give this some, thought... Ow, that hurts. Gee, thanks now I have a headache!

MPO,
You are right, of course.  That is a bad habit that I have myself into.  Thank you.  I am coming to appreciate your opinionated, no slack approach.  I noticed it before, but I didn't look at it the right way.    jack

ms bradrock,
Thank you.  Glad you stopped in.  I don't know what to say, so I won't say it.  jack

Dude, you are waaaay too hard on yourself...

All my stuff is garbage ... and you don't see me constantly beating myself up over it.

As far as even attempting not to offend anyone ... what fun would that be?

I'd like to travel under the sea
I could meet all the fish everywhere
Yes, I'd travel under the sea
But I don't think I'd like to live there

shirmarnel,

Thank you.  I was on the verge of removing the thing before anyone read it, then you came along and made me feel better.  Excuse the confusingness.  I reread it, and you certainly are right.  Oh well, I'll put a new plant over it tommorrow to knock it out of ''Top Entry'' position.

As far as finding the answer to offending no one--well, I don't know if it can be done.  I thought maybe going to the park and holding a bubble machine up in the wind would be the ticket, but then I realized someone would gets soap in their eye or their dog would start barking at them and I would be in trouble again.  I just don't know.

I saw your name on the new entry scroller a few minutes ago.  I'll get by there.  It's one of those ''stick in your mind'' nicknames.  A good choice.   jack

WOW
That was an interesting entry. A ,ittle confusing, but interesting. Also, don't give up on finding that answer. There is one, I just don't know what it is.
