Genetics are fascinating!  It is amazing how much our daughters can look so much like us at that same age.    I think it is neat.  Your daughter and you are both beautiful.

You are a good mother.
Dear S... I can see the smile on your daughter's face. She is enjoying herself and probably you are also enjoying her growing years. I envy you. I never had children, but my wife is good enough because I spoil her too much. My two niece are grown up now, Thea from my brother is already 20 and Lisa from my wife's side is already 24 and surely I cannot even carry them as babies anymore. Errrhhh, waiting for them to get married and see a new generation of young children... regards for now....    Prof.

The particular machine ride is a favorite because it doesn't take up much space for the operator. I've seen it before but painted a different design.

The Value Of Paper Photography!

My mother, my sister, and (oddly) my daughter look very much alike as youngsters. (And noooo, my sister and I never had an incestuous relationship. Perish the thought, please.) I have pictures of the three of them all in their Communion dresses that just frighten me with their similarites.

Still more frightening, my ex-wife and I celebrated Holy Communion a year apart at the same church. When we first married we found photographs of ourselves, each on our own front yard, clad in our respective Communion garb, she holding her white prayer book and rosary, I clutching my own black prayer book and rosary, both \of us with the exact same look on our faces...and not just any look...it was a posed look of seemingly goofy confusion...lips pursed, eyes wide open and tension written across our foreheads.

We honestly thought it was a sign that we belonged together.

Ultimately, though, that sign faded...I did say that she's now my ex-wife. Thankfully.
