I don't believe the groundhog this time.
I go by the ducks at Dodge Park. If they start to pair off (male and female) then I know it's mating time. They usually start doing this when they sense that winter is almost past. And they just started doing this very recently.
Of course I don't have any scientific proof to back my theory; it just an observation.

Out of country so hadn't heard about Pete!
In Canada he's called Wiarton Willy! I'll have to check him online to see if he saw anything. It hasnt' been much of a winter yet..I'm hoping for snow!!!!
