Alternatives to oil? Alternatives to Bush & Cheney!
I am shocked, SHOCKED I tell you, to discover that a Texas oil millionaire and a Wyoming (sort of) oil company executive CAN'T FIND AN ALTERNATIVE TO OIL!!! This dependency is a surprise to President Bush? Heck, even I remember the Arab oil embargo in the early 70's. Cars lining up for gas for blocks, the whole odd-even license plate scenario. (Even numbers M-W-F, odd numbers Tu-Th-Sa; they must not have sold gas on Sundays back then). It was even my high school debate topic. My solution was "Gasohol", a 10% mix of ethyl or methyl alcohol to supplement the gasoline. Of course, auto manufacturers said it wouldn't work. Now, when you see pumps, they all say "oxygenated" fuel, which means 10% alcohol!!!
