wislon - But we need big round numbers to catch the eye of the public...
... to serve as a wake up call. If the numbers just dribble along these deaths doesn't get the attention they deserves. Like birthdays. We all have them, and don't feel that old, until you have a 40th or 50th (or whatever) and suddently people start focusing about how old we're getting. Every single death, coalition / Iraqis / journalist is tragic. But one here and one there people will accept. Throw a big round number at them and they may react. - We won't even talk about the injured. That's a separate post.

Thanks for your sad reflections. Wow, I think the murder was a sign from...
somewhere.
Think about it for a while and see if it doesn't say something about the absurdity of life.
Again truth is much stranger than fiction.
