I'm going to buy Stephen a set because his big yard is perfect for it.   He's in the process of building a nice big gazebo over his creek so he might as well have a croquet set too.

Nanaroo--- Thanks for the memories! I loved croquet as a child.
I still have the set that I played with, as a matter of fact. Guess that it could be classified as an "antique" by now.

Awesome picture! What a cutie!! for as croquet- we had a wonderful weekend long party this summer with about 20 family members. My dad taught my kids to play croquet, the boys loved it so much that they played for hours and came inside with a sunbrn.

Nanaroo...You've brought back great memories. Our family always had a croquet set when I was a kid. We'd spend many summer hours enjoying the game in the back yard. Actually, part of the fun was setting up the game, ready for play.

I still play it~~ My whole family plays it!! Yes, I remember those scents! I tell ya, just the thought of climbing big Alice would make my heart throb. She was a giant of a tree, moss hanging from her outer branches.  My brother and I had the best scouting fort anyone could want, you could see people coming from way off! I do believe it was on the floor of the fort that I saw my first Playboy magazine! It was my brothers!

Thanks for the memories!
