Being saved
You remind me of when I was a teenager. Although we were Buddhists, my parents were active in the Civil Rights Movement. All their friends were Christian ministers. Every opportunity they got, they tried to "save" me. I must have been saved over 50 times. It was like a competition between them to see who could do it. I put up with this because I was raised to be polite to my elders and I was only 14. They constantly tried and tried. I told my mother finally and she made them stop. I started to be afraid of Christians after that, thinking that they were fanatics or cultists who want to force other people to be in their religion. We were always so accepting and open to the differences of others and I really liked what they were doing to change the world, so I tried to be tolerant.
