`And Irish

I agree with you....instead of saying our side didn't do it...why aren't  the Democrats saying whoever is involved should get punished.

The reason is they have decided that this is their campaign issue....and it's gonna bite them in the butt.....

Anyone, be they Republican or Democrat, that is found guilty of any crime should have to give up their seat and  face the music for their crimes.

Corbin Dallas
Corbin, thank you for writing this information. It would have gone un-noticed by me for at least a day or so if you hadn't posted it. A bribe is a bribe.. be it little or be it big, be it R or D it remains wrong. I do not understand a logic that says we both did it but your crime was worse than mine.   There is a clean-up needed on both sides and we as a people need to keep on top of what our gov. is doing and stop being so laid back. I am quilty of this at times and admit to being somewhat confused but the point is that we must put extra effort ( as you do) into finding the facts.

If there are more corrupt Republicans than Democrats in Congress
it's only because there are more Republicans

happened. I am happy someone brought it to the forefront, CNN and such never prints or shows much from the left isle. Thanks. It is time to duck, when the egg throwers wake up you will get bam basted for such good work.

So if Dem's Accepted Lobby Money as well as Repubs ...
why do you continue to catagorize the Dem's as liberals and Bush-haters. They're right with you pal. That's what's wrong with the country. The Dems in Congress want to be just like the Republicans.

Corbin,
This post is a classic. The Democrats are going to come out looking much worse than the Republicans in all of this. The media and liberals have tried to make this an all Republican scandal. When things such as what these Democratic Senators did get out they will look much worse. They tried to make believe they were clean when they were just as guility. In the end the Democrats will look much worse.

Hama has the one in a life time opportunity to live or disappear into oblivion.  It could also be put this other way, they have the opportunity to go the Saddam has gone or go the way Gaddafi has. You did made a great poin in your comment. On this, thank you very much for your regular patronage. It is such regularity that keeps me going even when I am tired. God Bless you.

Hm, Corbin,

I wonder if these Dems knew they were getting Abramoff money or if it was laundered through PACs.  Reid and others involvement is still small potatoes compared to Tom Delay's (R-TX, House Speaker), and the Congressman who has a boat named after him, "loaned" by a large corporate contributor.

Nice try, but no cigaar. This is still a Republican corruption problem.  After all, why brbe Dems, they aren't in power?
