tiptoeing around quietly on your blog taking in pieces you leave for us form yoru gentle soul, certainly has a different feel than the harsh and argumentative ones I have just come from. Blessed relief

I've cut several trees since we last spoke. I have three pines that need to come down this week; I'll be climbing them.

I put a can in the fire at least once a day, when the wood burning is high. It's very easy to get a chimney fire.

Avant, I enjoyed your post

How did you manage with the trees? Did you need to climb them?

I have never heard of burning aluminum cans in the wood stove, I will remember this though. Last winter on a storm day we had a chimney fire and two fire trucks came and plowed our long driveway and cleaned the furnace and the chimney.

Ah, therein lies my dilemma....to forget, or not.  For a few moments of my past, yes, forgetting would be most kind.  But, I cherish some memories.  Is not all of my past & experiences (sweet, bittersweet & sad)  what makes me what I am today?  Loved your posting -- as always.    (obviously,  I've been doing WAY too much thinking about certain past experiences).

Forgetting makes life seem less cruel.
I sometimes choose to forget what I see, hear, and learn.

Thank you very much for your compliments. The Hamas  victory was no surprise to me the contrary would have. BUT how do we who support Democracy in the region manage this? That is the question. Once again thank you and God Bless.

I think we assume that by being intellectual, we are evolved; but, I think the opposite is true.

I wish I could forget more.
I think my interpersonal memory (except my last girlfriend) is too sharp.  Perhaps that's a little to convenient.  I've got some good works to do!
