Thanks! You are right about Lensman's comments, too.....I got a lot out of that and am still thinking about it! I really am very good, so I've been told and situations have proven, at reading people and seeing the forrest and the trees......but, there are always variables that can never be assumed or forgotten, the "rough" stones.

Thank you! We women do tend to do the left-right shuffle a lot....biologically constructed to do it so much more easily than men.....so, of course, some of us can't help but do it with some devilish impulses at times.....I mean, gotta keep life interesting , right?

I had to laugh at your comment about your picture....I've often joked about my picture being in the dictionary as the only definition needed for a lot of words! As we've realized before, we are definitely a pair!

I love your analogy of the smooth stones and the road that can go nowhere....quite excellent! And, I've thought a lot about your suggestion of considering the arguments we're not so confident about......excellent comment, sir....thank you.

As a logical person
who is right-brain left-brain and sometimes just plain contrary for the fun of it, I have to admit your definition is right on the money.... Great blog!!! :)pat

And if a photo comes with that definition I'm pretty sure it's a photo of me! Wonderful post and soooo true for me.

This is quite true. Arriving at a conclusion using logic can be thought of in the same way as building a cobbled road, stone by stone, carefully and methodically choosing the smoothest stones and discarding the others. You can end up with fine road which has led to nowhere.
Perhaps the arguments we are less confident about are the ones we should examine more closely
