DrJPT - thank you -- some of these people around here are too comical
I watched some folks post blog after blog full of misinformation and nonsense, promoting discrimination against all who do not believe as they do, yet when one person challenges some of their lunacy they cry foul.  Then attempt to garner consensus as to how others treat them so unfairly, instead of examining their own behaviour. Sadly, some of them are fully grown adults.

elysiafields - yes I remember you - how have you been?
In answer to your question as to whether or not I am an atheist; No in the true sense of being certain that there is not a God of some sort I am not an atheist. The only thing that I am certain of is; that all representations of God that I have encountered so far, from the Christian to the Muslim versions, are entirely man made. A study of ancient history and human physiology solidifies this contention for me. There may well be some form of connecting life force, or influencing event that caused all of this to be but men don't rise from the dead unless enough people convince themselves that it is possible. So far I haven't seen anything that would convince me that a belief in a traditionally defined God is anything more than a collectively held delusion, fortified by wishful thinking.

Remember me?

Hi I'm back!! Did you miss me? Just a quickie question today - are you an athiest? Maybe it should be self evident, maybe you posted about it - I may have missed it, as I am sporadic in my attendance here.

Thanks!  - I know you probably don't go for the fluffy emoticons, it only makes me wish there were more of them, like angles, butterflies, birdies, and ladybugs...
