Blanch that is what I call a twister. The post was not about George
Bush at all but about the atrocities ten men had committed to their own people. How no matter what you wanted or thought it could not happen here. George Bush can not burn villages, sell your children, any of these things. Things are in place to avoid that. The circuit court of appeals in Cal is fast trying to change it but that was what it was about. We are in a good country, under better than all these leadership. If you don't believe that there is no hope for you. Your reaction was about how bad George Bush was regardless. It was about what I felt about George Bush, I did not convey what my thoughts were on George Bush. I simply think we place too much good or bad press on that man when all the other people in the world are going through what they are. You doubted the information on and on! Nothing constructive that I could discern. I call it a twister, meaning anything can be twisted to your hate of George Bush!

I didn't see this post...
...before I posted in the other one.
Is this really the best argument that can be made on this issue? Because a totalitarian regime requires censorship and access to private information as a pre-condition to doing business that our government should too?
I know you've tried to spin it around to make Google look like the guilty party here but it won't work.
Why do Republicans feel the need to defend this treacherous law? You do realize it was passed in 1998 and signed into law by President Clinton. You could always blame him for it.

You need to e-mail someone else if you have a problem with them...... are you roaming the sites tonight looking for a confrontation? Do me a favor and take it elsewhere...OK?

Corbin,
Are we going to invade China in order to bring democracy? That would be stretch considering that the Chinese are financing the deficit that is allowing us to continue this war off the books. BTW, Justsouno, I find it odd that you use the phrase "sent me into a twister", I guess that's what I get for even attempting to respond to your posts. If anyone disagrees with you, you think it's personal. I am disagreeing with what you say, attempting to find some logic there. Silly me.

Corbin...
It may be unrelated, but what I want to see is every e-mail must have a traceable return address so I can tell those spamophile where to get off. And don't get me started on China.

That post I did about the Bad 10 that sent Blanch into a twister
covered all that. The e mails, faxes, telephone conversations and mail is copied. All trials going to court allow only 5% to have witnesses and they have a high 90% conviction rate. We have outsourced so much of our work we are buying into that.
What I thought someone would address but they were only interested in George Bush, was that China has evicted I believe 700,000 homeowners to make way for the 2008 Olympics. I believe we should boycott the Olympics. If we don't how can we sit here and find fault with these large corporations if we say nothing.

Ah, Jeez, Corbin, hoist with my own petard,
Why didn't I realize the conundrum here: a multinational corporation that wants to make a profit I can understand and China is notoriously repressive, what I would hate to see is the US becoming more like China by giving up prvate control of trade secrets and private information. Whatever happened to the idea of Republicans as the party of least government interference in private lives?

Well, Blanche
Welcome to my gulag.....
What do you think about Google readily giving in to China's demand for censorship.....based on the profitability of the appeasement?
Why the next thing you know they will be finding way of making money on what sites we visit and view right here in the States! And giving that info to the guv-r-mint!

We agree on that, Corbin:
multinational corporations are their own countries, with no fealty to their own employees, the countries in which they do business or even the countries within which they gained their riches, which provided the infrastructure to gain such massive profits.

Hmmmm?
Sound's a lot like the famed CNN "World View"....
This is going to become a very common practice....even more than it is now.....Multi-National Corporations feel no loyalty to any country.

I heard a few weeks ago that Microsoft caved in
to China's demands, too, stating they wish to abide by the different policies of each country. Hmmmm.

This is no surprise. China already has thousands of monitors censoring e-mails.

Corbin that cencorship of all things said or written in China was
one of the issues that put their Prime Minister on the top ten lest of the worst leaders in the world. The Olympics are coming to China in 2008 and nobody wants to miss out on those dollars.
