A horrible curse, to be filled with hopelessness.  Soul death indeed.  When I have clarity, I look back on my pain.  I think to myself, I am one hell of a VERY strong person!  Sheesh!  IT is very hard to explain what it is like.  Sometimes I find a quote from someone that nails it.  Thanks for your input and encouragement!  It means a lot.  Blogit is so great that way!

You very well could be...do you have your detection apparatus in effect?  lol!  Really, I have found that it is very helpful to help others when I am suffering...It is the way I drag myself from slugland... I eventually de-slug myself but sometimes I have to get creative and sneak !  Thanks for helping me think!

Lovely Lustlotus...  That's why I love the internet!  And this is just a speck of what is out there.  When I first got my computer, my aim was to utilize it in ways where I might find a cure for my ails.  It is my pleasure to be able to share the wealth.

Mysteria...
An interesting movie is "Off the Map" which deals mostly with a young girl and her impression of the world, but also her father is locked in a deep depression that no one understands.  A very strange movie worth seeing.

Mysteria,
Great list, there are some tremendous resources here. "Deperession" is such a bland word to describe so much emotional pain, I like the biblical term "affliction" ,  as in affliction of the soul.  The clergyman who wrote he'd rather be scalded than lose his faith again said volumes, absence of hope, imho, is the death of the soul.  Well said.

Mysteria...

People just don't realize this stuff, you know?!

I would rather suffer most horrific situations than suffer with depression, but one doesn't have a choice. We must decide not to sit and wallow and stand up and seek relief, it is out there as you said.

Great post, Angela

Holy Cow! You've listed a whole bunch of Resources!
Might take a long time to look into all those. I hope you're feeling good these days. My prayers are with you.
