Maybe you should have them meet?
Since they haven't met each other, maybe they should? We all want to find the right person, our soul mate, or just someone to have some fun with and share some time. If you really think that she is being selfish and unreasonable then you need to tell her. Let's just hope her instinct is just paranoid thoughts. Your her mom and you'll know what to do.

Guess you wouldnt feel that way if you heard her sometimes. I want some happiness and she has never met this man nor seen him so what right does she have to judge him

Do you really think so little of your daughter?
This is the daughter you raised, that you love and loves you so much that she worries and cries over you and to you. This is the daughter that fears for your safety and doesn't trust a man that she fears might hurt you. Why would you think that she doesn't want you to be happy and would abandon you so quickly? You need to have more faith in your daughter and maybe in her judgement too.
