In all manefestations pertaining to the supernatural, including ghost sightings and visions of religious icons, there are two constants that never waver and for the most part discredit most claims of such experiences. The first constant is that the human brain physically reacts to certain stimula in exactly the same manner amongst all human beings. A good example of this is the effect that electro-magnetic energy has on the human brain. It disrupts the natural electrical charge we all carry within our brains and alters our perceptions. Ambient electro-magnetic energy, or that which is found naturally in any location, is quite often elevated during ghost sightings. The believer in ghosts suggests that the elevated readings are a result of, and proof of, ghost activity in a particular location, while the skeptic sees it as the cause of the so called ghost activity. ....The second constant found in all paranormal manifestations and visions of religious icons, is that the subject must have prior knowledge of the vision. For example; a Hindu has never had a vision of the Virgin Mary........I view this as sort of a big catch when anyone wants to insist that these things are real.
