As an Educator...
I am reading this from a different view and would find it a challenge getting the group into the swing of things in the school setting!! I taught grade 7 math prior to moving into administration. I had a 16 year old in that grade with a driver's license!! Anyway, interesing post!

Melody - hoo boy, you're sharp ...that little sublety about French escaped
everyone else. Of course Gomez Adams spoke a continental phony French, while French was my first language ....before English. You have picked up on the rest of the depiction as presented to the friends that named me so. My English was laced with French back then and I had a slight accent that I was trying to shake.

This expedition reminded me of the movie Stand by Me...young, adventurous boys...
I was curious about your blog name... so do you speak French like Gomez? Hasta la proxima, Melody

Your headline made me laugh...but your story was touching in the sense
that at least one good guy emerged from that twisted, dark system...glad you guys didn't shoot either.
