I don't have much faith in Charities,
except I was somewhat pleased with the Red Cross when my friends house burned down. They gave her 250.00 for groceries, and 120.00 for each family member for clothes. She could have got money for a night at a hotel, but instead she stayed with her mother. The truth is, there isn't much help for needy people. I'd certainly buy my friend a new house if I won the lottery.

Wislon,
You almost made me spit out my cofee! I will, now however ROFLMAO, because frankly, I haven't vacummed and it's dusty down there. Shoes, yes, famous, uncomfortable shoes that woulld make other women whose opiinoin I should care less about green with envy. See how even the thought of money makes me throw my values to the wind and become shallow and superficial. I'd better tear up that lottery ticket.

Shoes Blanche?
With that sort of money I'd pay somebody to walk for me.

Wislon,
I'd like to think I'd be a magnanimous winner, doling out cash to foundations, but as your research shows, a million (pounds or dollars), just isn't what it used to be to run with the big dogs. So, I think my appetite would be whetted for the lifestyle, if I had a lowly mansion, I'd want 3, a private jet, spa treatment, people wallowing at my feet, and shoes, lots of shoes.

Wislon,
It depends greatly on the person's heart. Some rich people are very generous, some are tight-fisted.
Might as well be generous and help others as much as possible because when you're dead and gone, that money won't do you any good, and the Bible says God's going to eventually destroy the earth with fervent heat.
Think money's going to be around then?
God bless you.

Sure, it's much easier
to give away money you don't have!

Non-winners can be really charitable...doesn't cost them anything...

Charity.
I believe that charity begins at home, meaning take care of yourself first then decide what charities to help out.
