I did look at the site the link went to
and read through a couple of things but seems get the affiliate rich quick idea isn't for me. I'll stick with my AVON (now, there's a shameless plug! LOL . I have 2 mentors whose paycheques I can see (one gets $1200 every 2 weeks, the other DOUBLE that) and I got my first bonus cheque the other day for $147.04. It's working for me!
Re your talents, what about checking out the writers yearbooks for writers and illustrators? You might be able to pick up some work there. UK and USA both have their own versions and you might be able to access them online.
As for public speaking. Why not talk to a local hotel, book a conference room, and set up a "class"for a few hours one weekend, with a display of your work, and talk about yourself and your career ... as well as offering advice to those who attend? Things like this usualy merit anywhere from a $25 to $50 fee, and you can make a nice profit from them? Just an idea.
