I agree.  Miracles come in many different forms and only has to be detected by the recipient.

if a miracle is the intercession of God, then I think there must be one in the space between each breath for it is there that we live and breathe and have our being , if we but knew it. Rarely are we conscious, rarely are we awake

You're welcome. I see a lot of callousness in my job, and it saddens me. A loss is a grievous challenge.

I know that miracles do exist because I have seen many myself. This was a great and insightful piece. Congratulations

inspiring

Very inspiring words and thoughts. Sometimes such miracles are the only things that get us by. Such opportunities for gratitude are blessed indeed.

Avant -- Good thoughts, as usual. I think peceiving the miraculous

in our everyday lives is one of the most sober approaches to spirituality, even as a miracle is a sort of intoxication. I guess that is the paradox.

BTW -- I deeply appreciate the comment you left me the other day. Take care.

Yes, it is sad how quickly we tend to absorb the extraordinary into the ordinary.

Avant-Faith has a lot to do with miracles. Thanks for the thought.

I am often surprised at how

something so magnificant and unusual can become accepted as just 'as is' very quickly.

It is a joy to create the life you want, and watch it unfold before you.

Good point, sir. Learning to appreciate the sublime in the mundane is a miracle in itself.

I loved this one in particular...
I do think that we experience little miracles every day...it is up to us to keep our eyes open or to remain blind to them...

Avant -
I think miracles are for those who've given away their power and have misplaced their love. Those who keep their power and love unconditionally find "miracles" an every day occurance.

Yes
miracles are all around us and how sad that we do seem to desire proof.

This is true. I experience these miracles almost every day. I would daresay that when I do not experience them, it is from my own choosing not to look.

I am glad to read from you again. As for your question, the poor it is true alwas do things that could be interpretered as though, they are adding salt to their injuries. But  in my opinion, they are not short sighted nor want to remain poor, but are often overwhelemed  by the legion of well wishers   gravitating around them. Look for example the problem of debts, most people want africans not to pay back their debts under the guise that, it was loan out under suspicious circumstances and conditions. What would they do when at the same time they are being hacked to pay by others? Nigeria has just paid  some $ 6 billion  to the Paris club in a deal that will the country's other debts cancelled, but there still some NGO's that are against. What should be done in such a case? On this my dear friend, thanks once again for reading and God Bless.

Every day is filled with multitudes of miracles. It is a miracle I woke this morning. It is a miracle that my heart beats. "Amazing" miracles happen daily too!

Doesn't matter the "size" of a miracle....the wonders of miracles, great and small...the Lord, God above, gifts us ALL.  Most especially liked -- "what is seen by one and understood, is all that's needed for the miracle to exist." -- sometimes, all that's needed is for the person experiencing the miracle to acknowledge it. (now, if I can only remember that & give thanks for ALL the miracles that happen EVERY DAY).  Thank you for the miracle & wonder of your postings.
