A mere droplet of water in the ocean of eternity. . . , I've heard the reference to our short existence on Earth put many ways, but this is the first time I've heard it in relation to an ocean and water.  Very nice

Thank you. We had a wind storm Saturday night, and our power went out for 24 hrs. It was rather gloomy yesterday for us.

Percipient is an interesting word. I've never heard that one before. I'll have to look that one up, from "perceive", probably, right?
