Hello Cynthia
Thanks for sharing this story. Great post. Killer tornadoes in November, Indiana kids flying kites in January...Human arrogance has created the beginning of an enviromental nightmare, yet the arrogance and denial continue to overshout the reality. I wonder where the elites who profit from this manipulation plan on residing with their piles of gold...

Maybe not "Sewer", but definitely "storm drain".
Well, in B'desh, "sewer" too.

fw, I forgot you live in Texas, you seem
just like one of us "normal" people here in Massachusetts.

Cyn - The Republicans in Texas are so dominated by crazy Christians ...
that the governor running for reelection proposed teaching "intelligent design" in science class. Science is just a theory, he claims. And while there's no proof that man walked with dinosauers, there's no proof they didn't, he claims. My state representative claims that pollution travels up I-45 from Houston and the cement plants that emit toxic chemicals have nothing to do with the quality of our air here in Dallas-Fort Worth.

Majroj, Bangladesh has always looked like the sewer
of the world to us "elites" but now that N' Orleans is exposed as the "sewer" for the USA as far as most republicans in power are concerned...

Look at maps indicating the areas to be inundated.
Yeah, N'orleans is there, but as a whole, Vietnam's going to be a whole lot more pissed. And Bangladesh.
