I used to read double negatives and think, 'whaaa?' I'm sorry for the confusion.

Certainly. We appear as separate individuals who take and barter with one another. On a tangible level, it holds true to some extent.

However, on an emotional level, sharing what you wish to be creates it. Love, for instance, does not exist until you love something. You are the source, but the other is essential for the experience of it. It is a paradox.

Having things does not bring happiness, because you are not happy when you take it. You are making the statement that you do not have, and then you experience not having it. Happiness is a decision to be happy, regardless of circumstances.

We are all doing well, despite a respiratory bug that's going around. With regards to your wood, it won't mold if it kept where the sun can shine on it at least part of the day. The insects are a sign that it is rotting. Keep the wood at least twenty feet from the house, so they won't get to the foundation and eat that, too. Best of luck on finding a job.

Avant -
Anything that isn't real doesn't exist, so we can't give it away. Only that which is real can we give away. Great post!

quite busy, as always lol
but I wanted to greet you...have a great day:)

Oh I get It
and I agree wholeheartedly. Giving away something on which you place value will mean so much  more of a gift and or a sacrifice.  this applies especially well when giving away a piece of your heart or all of it...

Regarding that last bit....in that case, I give away -- writing ability & most of all, I give away, LOVE.  Hope you've had a wonderful weekend, my friend.

avant-garde, You've got my mind all tangled up with all those negatives in the first part.  But, I think I understand what you are saying.   The rest of it is very clear to me.

I like all that you said, and would even agree with it, except for the last
line about giving away all that you wish to keep. Can you explain that?

good, Avant

It is thirteen degrees outside and feels like spring up here.

This year the popple wood was damp when I put it inside. And all of the wood grew a type of fungus, it started outside and continues to grow.  Ive been killing small flies for a few weeks, they look like small blackflies, and they somehow are living and breeding in the wood.

I am trying to get work in the oilfields, I have a few friends there now, they are not hiring at the moment so Im  not sure how it will turn. I would like to get working at something, I have lots of free time.

thanks for asking, how are you and your family?

I guess you are right...
particularly for a writer...an article becomes valuable when knowledge is shared with other ppl...if i keep evth for myself, it gets lost...great post:)

The innocent should be unafraid
because the meek shall inherit the earth. The only thing to fear is fear itself.

Yes, I've witnessed that myself.

Giving seems more pure if you did not want to give it away in the first
place.  The innocent are very fearless...You can find that at any ski slope.  I marvel at how my sons will attempt a task without even knowing the dangers...
